CHARACTERIZE THE DEVIL AND EXPLAIN WHAT HE WANTS FROM TI- JEAN AND HIS BROTHERS

          The devil in this play portray  different characters; and old man or papa bois, a planter and hinself . the devil was miserable; and for that reason he tried to find a way to feel alive and also to proof that he was the smarter one ever and that nobody can defeated him. In this play the devil wants to kill ti-jean and his brothers.Gross jean the older brother thought that with his iron hand was gonna be able to defeat the devil but he fail also mi-jean fail his batle with the devil he thought that books and lecture were his weapon to fight the devil. however ti-jean the youngest of the brothers defeat the devil because he was smart and thought before he acted. At the end the devil was defeated by ti-jean.
