APARTHIED  was a system of legal racial segregation in south africa. In  the play master harold’s and the boys apartheid is in action at all times. Master harold is a 17 years old boy that have to black men on their mid- forties as servants. He talks to them in a superior way using intellectual words. At the end opf the play when hally and sam are remenbering the day sam made the kite for hally hsays :  if you ever do write it as a short story, there was a twist in our ending. I couldn’t sit down there and stay with you. It was a “white only” bench.
